Know Your Enemy.

Keep your head on a swivel.

Why should you care? Because if you aren’t in league with them, you are the enemy. This is a scary post, but I want you to remember the most important thing of all: WE OUTNUMBER THE NAZIS. We have all the power. We just have to be willing to exercise it. (And regarding the image above for you fellow trekkies, I know Dax wouldn’t say that.)

From the Star Wars show “Andor” Season 2:

So, take a breath, get educated, and it will help you deal with all of this craziness coming at you. Not being informed about things creates fear. Understanding gives courage. And by the way, if you want some great lessons on resisting and fighting fascism, you should watch both seasons of Andor. I’m serious.

It was just a matter of time until the Faux News/Newsmax/OANN propaganda network, combined with Trumps bloviating, would stir up the right. Now that they are scared and pushing back in the form of violence at our protests and the murder of politicians, you need to know about the different fascists in our country if you don’t already. You should also know that at least SOME members of the GOP in Congress have actively associated with some of these groups.

During our two protests in May, I spotted a red car with a yellow wreath painted on the door driving by the protest several times. I pointed out to one of my comrades that it looked like a Proud Boys wreath. I’m pretty sure they were scoping us out and waiting to act. After what happened Saturday with Proud Boys being arrested here and across the nation, I’m positive that’s what it was. They were waiting to gather their courage and show up as a group here.

All four of them vs our more than 1,200. Lol.

From all of the news I’ve seen, 100% of the violence Saturday at the 2,200+ “No Kings” rallies was committed by the right. Almost 80 counter-protestors were arrested nationwide. Proud Boy arrested in Nashville after threatening to pull a gun. A MAGA woman arrested after being tackled to the ground when she went for her gun. A guy rammed his SUV into protestors, thankfully hurting no one. A Proud Boy convicted felon arrested here with brass knuckles and another MAGA arrested here for shoving people. A MAGA woman here instigated trouble that got a comrade arrested, but we got her out. All that and more, on top of two political assassinations by a Christo-fascist preacher in Minnesota.

You need to know your enemy. They think war is coming, and they are acting like it.

I am going to ridicule them extensively here, but I want you to remember something: YOU ARE THE ENEMY, THEY ARE DANGEROUS. So laugh at my words and at them if you want (I will) but remember, this shit is real. ALL of these groups contain dangerous, convicted violent felons. The Oath Keepers locally know me and where I live, so I have no problem being in their face. You may want to be a little more cautious. KKK - I think everyone knows who they are. Most of us don’t think about them much, but they are still very much active and around. I had my septic tank pumped out a few years ago, and I noticed the guy had a Klan tattoo on his calf. (In this case, a Confederate flag with a German “totenkopf” skull on it.) I never used that company again. The KKK still burns crosses. People of color go missing often enough in the southern United States that you wonder if they aren’t still lynching people. They remain a threat.

Keep your eye out for flags like this one, or this one, or that symbol as a tattoo. Also, this symbol as a tattoo or on a flag. Sometimes confederate flag tattoos (with or without other elements) can indicate Klan affiliation. Even if not, don’t let any asshole wearing one tell you it about “heritage.” They are a racist fuck if they have a confederate flag tattoo or anything else.

Proud Boys - These clowns were at the J6 insurrection. They are a violent criminal street gang. They favor black and yellow as their colors, which pisses me off. Those are ARMY colors. They love to start shit and fight, and they aren’t afraid of being arrested as they demonstrated on Saturday. They are also incredibly racist. They wear shirts that say “6MWE” - “Six Million Wasn’t Enough.” That is their way of saying they didn’t kill enough Jews in WWII. They are loyal to the Trump regime. And for being a White Supremacist group, I find it hysterical their leader is Hispanic.

The Proud Boys will have tattoos that just say “Proud Boys.” They wear shirts like this one sometimes, and their flags look like this. That is what I saw circling our protest a couple months back - a local PB driving a car with that exact yellow wreath on the door, without the “PB.” They are very fond of tattoos that make them seem like patriots. They aren’t patriots - they are fucking Nazis.

Oath Keepers - Highly conspiratorial, this group is made up largely of former and current law enforcement and military, which makes them especially dangerous. They bill themselves as a group formed to “keep their Oath” and protect this country, except of course their idea of that is to back to the GOP and not the Constitution as they claim. They were also at J6, leading stacks of people into the Capitol building. These idiots could be a real threat. If they had long guns with them on J6, were willing to use them and actually were better organized, they could have easily massacred a bunch of Congress and started a civil war. Easily. I’m shocked they didn’t after all their trash talking online they do constantly. By they way, their leader, Stewart Rhodes, shot his eye out in a negligent discharge. Lol.

The Oathkeeper flag looks like this, and they wear patches that look like that. If you see them, remind them they are NOT keeping their oath and they are traitors.

Patriot Front - These are the idiots that rent U-Hauls and other trucks to get to their events. They wear khakis, blue shirts, hats, masks, and carry cute little shields and batons. They always show up in groups of ten or more it seems like, and try to intimidate people. They ALWAYS get chased off like the bitches they are. I recommend carrying a padlock with no key if they are in your area. If you see them, padlock them in the back of their truck when they are stopped at a light or something. Lol. (That might be illegal, probably is, but they are Nazis, so fuck em) Or, follow the truck, then get plates of all the cars they climb into. Follow the truck back to the rental place and tell them Nazis were using it and they will be banned.

The Patriot Front flag looks like this. Here is a real one.

III’er - This means “three percenter” - a callback to the myth that only three percent of the country fought the British. These guys see themselves as some kind of uber-patriots or something. They are itching for a civil war and hate the left, just as the others do. Quite often, people in the other groups will also hold membership as a three percenter, which is a dog whistle to the idea that they are willing to start and fight in a civil war.

Their symbols look like this and this usually. I see this most often as a window sticker on their little dick trucks.

The Base - Interestingly, “Al Queda” translated means “The Base”, so this group of neo-Nazis gave themselves the same name as an Islamic terror group. Interesting. They are a violent “accelerationist” group. They want to quickly bring about the collapse of America and the government so they can start a race war. A great example of their vision is the book “The Turner Diaries.” I encourage everyone to read it, but do not buy it since it was written by Nazi scum. Pirate it online someplace. It is a fictional story about just that - Nazis taking over America. The book is horribly written, and it will turn your stomach if you are actually human. I think it is important that we all understand that are a LOT of people in this country who want just that. That book inspired Timothy McVeigh - he was trying to start a civil war. The Base is also trying to recruit active and former military like the other groups, and this group actually operates in multiple countries.

There are others. Get educated. Stay informed, stay cautious, keep your head on a swivel, especially when protesting. A lot of these people will hang these flags in their windows or homes and such, and you will just low-key notice it one day and be like, “Ok, my neighbor is a Nazi.” The Southern Poverty Law Center has a lot of great information on hate groups. If you find something you think is a fascist symbol or tattoo, you can look there or someplace like the antifascist group on reddit to ask.

Be good y’all, but be safe, and be intolerant of fascism.
